The California Virtual Campus – Online Education Initiative (CVC-OEI) is a collaborative effort among California Community Colleges (CCCs) to ensure that significantly more students are able to complete their educational goals by increasing both access to and success in high-quality online courses.

California community colleges may choose to participate in CVC-OEI activities by taking advantage of: Shared resources, Canvas, and the OEI Consortium which includes the CVC Exchange.
What is the California Community Colleges CCMS??
The California Community Colleges (CCC) have adopted Canvas as the system’s Common Course Management System (CCMS). This means that even if you take a class at more than one CCC, you will use the same platform to access your classes. If this is your first time taking an online class, you may want to watch some of these short videos to get started.
How do I search for classes at a California Community College??
Enter your primary California Community College and then search for the class you would like to take. You can search by keyword, course name, or general education requirement.
