Schools of Excellence. Elementary, middle, and high schools that are either academically superior or demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement are awarded. These schools serve as models for other schools throughout the state.
What is the definition of academic excellence??
Academic excellence is the demonstrated ability to perform, achieve, and/or excel in scholastic activities. Academic excellence has been identified with achieving high grades and superior performance. But academic excellence is more than just making good grades.
