Do you need a license to own a dog in Brevard??
Brevard County ordinances require all owned dogs, cats and ferrets to be licensed and for the license to be attached to the animal. A license is your pet’s ticket home should it become lost. When a lost animal is found with current identification, our Animal Control Officers can quickly return it or notify its owners that it is safe at the shelter.
What do you teach in dog training classes??
The classes are designed to teach you positive-reinforcement training methods that reward good behavior, e.g. manners, come, sit, stay and most of all walking on a leash without pulling, and correct unwanted behavior, e.g. nipping, chewing, digging and jumping.
