Our seven BC Housing-Approved core competency courses are mandatory to become a licensed home builder in British Columbia. Once you become a licensed builder, keep your license in good standing through our BC Housing-Approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) formal and informal training.

What do I need to bring to the BC Building Code course??

All course materials will be provided by the AIBC, with the exception of the Building Code. Participants are responsible for having a hard (or digital) copy of either the National Building Code, BC Building Code or the Vancouver Building Bylaw to bring to the BC Building Code course.
