Where can I get food safety training in Ontario??
Lambton Public Health also recognizes valid food safety training certificates awarded by other Ontario public health units and certification agencies recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as meeting minimum requirements for the food handler training and certification. Other Safe Food Handling Courses (including online).
Where can I get a food handler certification in Sudbury&Districts??
Public Health Sudbury & Districts will accept certifications issued by any other public health unit in Ontario. Some of the approved Ministry of Health providers, as well as the online “In Good Hands” course, only provide the food handler training, not certification.
How long does it take to become a food handler certification??
We provide Food Handler Certification Courses recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care valid throughout Ontario. 100% online, including exam. Takes between 6-8 hours to complete.
