The Flat Rock Community Schools Board of Education unanimously approved placing a no-tax-rate increase bond proposal on the May 3 ballot. “Voter approval of the bond proposal will allow the school district to complete facility upgrades and improvements, while not increasing the current tax rate,” the school said in a statement.
What does the bond proposal mean for Flat Rock Community Schools??
“This process led to a bond proposal that will allow Flat Rock Community Schools to address both short-and long-term facility needs,” said district Supt. Andrew Brodie. “It will also help us enhance the student learning environment and expand educational offerings.”
