There are two (2) types of licenses that are issued in the state of Oregon. As long as your work involves home improvement, building construction or any of the professions listed below, you will need to register for a license under the CCB (Construction Contractors Board).

How do I get an electrical contractor license in Oregon??
The applicant must be a licensed Electrical Contractor or at least work for one, or with a licensed Limited Energy Contractor. Working under an employer from an industrial plant is also acceptable. The applicant must go through the state-approved apprenticeship program in Oregon.
