What is Levine Music School??
Welcome! Levine is a welcoming community where children and adults find lifelong inspiration and joy through learning, performing, listening to, and participating with others in music. Our campuses are open for in-person instruction or study online through our Virtual Campus.
Why do people go to Levine??
You go to Levine because you love music, and you come back because you love music — not to be in a school or a conservatory, but just because you love it. They embrace all ages. Levine is the only music school in the area where I’ve really seen that.
What does it mean to be community at Levine??
Community means many things at Levine, including five campuses to serve the DC region, partnerships with the other arts organizations, and providing a musical home for children and adults. Levine offers outstanding music instruction and programs to students of all ages, interests, and skill levels at five campuses in the DC area.
How many campuses does Levine have??
Levine currently operates four campuses, in Northwest DC, Southeast DC, Strathmore MD, and Arlington VA. Levine welcomes students of all ages and abilities, from all economic backgrounds. Levine was founded in 1976 by Ruth Cogen, Diana Engel and Jackie Marlin.
