What is ground school like in the RAF??
Ground School 3. Flying. Basic Land Survival. For the Army and RAF, Basic Land Survival is conducted at RAF Cranwell. For the Navy it is conducted at St Mawgan. It is designed to give aircrew basic survival knowledge knowledge should they need to crash land in the training / friendly environment. It lasts for 2 weeks.
