Science & Arts Academy (SAA) is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational, not-for-profit day school for gifted students in Junior Kindergarten through eighth grade.
What is Asa school??
ASA is a public charter school that is tuition free and serves students K-8. The main emphasis at ASA are students who have a particular interest in the arts and sciences. All students at ASA are required to participate in art, music, and theatre as part of our program.
What is the Online Learning Academy??
In response to our rapidly changing environment, the Faculty has launched the Online Learning Academy (OLA) to bring together professors and instructors to share their expertise in providing outstanding online learning opportunities for students.

Getting to SAA Located in Des Plaines, a northwest suburb of Chicago, SAA is easily accessible by car, train, or bus and draws students from over 70 different Chicagoland communities. Our campus is conveniently located directly off Interstate 294, within a short walk of the Des Plaines Metra station, and steps from a PACE bus stop.
