There are two Collegiate high schools in Seminole County. Crooms Academy of Information Technology in partnership with Seminole State College of Florida, offers an a technology focused A.A. degree. Students who wish to attend this program must complete an application through the Crooms Academy and be accepted.
What happened to the adult high school program at Seminole State College??
The Adult High School program at Seminole State College is in the process of sunsetting and will officially end after Summer 2022. Summer 2021 students who completed their classes may re-register with the Adult Education Student Services office to continue classes in Fall 2021.
What GPA do you need to get into Seminole State University??
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 at Seminole State to continue in the Dual Enrollment Program and a 3.0 (for Academic DE) or 2.5 (for Career DE) cumulative, unweighted, high school GPA. Early Admission is a program offered for Public school seniors who have completed at least 18 credits in grades 9-11.
How do I dual enroll in Seminole County Schools??
Home school students must be registered with the Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) Home Education Office to be eligible to dual enroll. Copy of the letter from the Seminole County Schools Home School office stating that the student is a registered home school student with the district.
