What is StudentsFirst??
StudentsFirst is a political lobbying organization formed in 2010 by Michelle Rhee, former school chancellor of Washington D.C. public schools, in support of education reform. The organization worked to pass state laws on issues such as expanding charter schools and teacher tenure reform.
Who can sign up for the students first account??
The Students First Account is only available to full-time undergraduate students at not-for-profit post-secondary educational institutions. Full-time status can vary and is determined by the post-secondary institution in which students are enrolled.
How do I qualify for the students first line of credit??
To qualify for the Students First Line of Credit, you must provide proof of enrolment in a full-time program at a Canadian or American not-for-profit university, college, or technical school. High school upgrading and private for-profit vocational schools are not eligible.
How do I prove I'm a student??
How do I prove I'm a student? To open a new Students First Account, you'll need to provide proof of enrolment. This could be a photo or screenshot of your tuition receipt, letter of acceptance or time table. We'll reach out to you if we need to confirm your enrolment to maintain your student status in September of each year.
