Where to park for Sundance canyon hike??
You can park at the Cave and Basin Historical site (lots of parking) form which begins the trailhead to the Sundance Canyon loop. You follow a paved pathway for most of the way up until you reach the Canyon itself --from there it is gravel/silt path with a slight increase in elevation.
Can dogs go on Sundance Canyon Trail??
Sundance Canyon Trail is a 5.6 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Banff, Alberta, Canada that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
