What's new at bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club??
In 2011, Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club underwent a grand reinvention of the already stout 35-year-old golf course. Fifteen holes were enhanced under this period while other remarkable holes went unchanged.
What happened to Poplar Creek Golf Course??
The course was closed in April of 1999 for a complete renovation and redesign. In July of 2000, the totally remodeled course reopened with a new look, new energy, and a new name – Poplar Creek – land marked by the poplar trees and creek that run through the course.
What is Poplar Creek known for??
Poplar Creek is home to the Robert O’Brien Junior Championship and the San Mateo County Championship, having such notable past winners as former PGA Tour Professional, Johnny Miller. Today, Poplar Creek averages over 70,000 rounds a year, making it one of the most popular golf courses in Northern California.
