Can I bring my family to Philmont Training Center??

For all Philmont Training Center activities, minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by at least one adult family member 18 years or older, unless in a Philmont provided Conference Youth Program Group . What is the Philmont Training Center Scholarship Fund??

A small scholarship fund has been established to ensure that volunteers and professionals have an opportunity to participate in a summer or fall Philmont Training Center experience. (Scholarships cannot be used for DO-2 courses held at the PTC.)

What is the schedule for the Philmont family conference??

Family members will be dropped off at 8:30am and 1:30pm, and pick up by their parents at 11:30 am and 4:30pm, allowing parents to attend a training. and/or the Spouse program. Conference schedules mirror these times. During Training Conference times, Philmont staff will provide leadership and exciting program for all conference youth members.
