What is the workforce training stream??

Are there any training programs that are free to employers??
We offer a variety of training services and programs at no cost, designed to benefit job seekers, employers, businesses, and workforce partners. Our employment and training services are provided in partnership with state and local agencies and organizations through the America’s Job Center of California SM.
How much do employers have to pay for workforce training??
Under the Workforce Training Stream, employers may receive 60 percent of eligible training costs, up to a maximum of $5,000 per participant per fiscal year. The employer is required to contribute the remaining 40 percent. Employers are eligible to receive up to $300,000 per fiscal year (April 1 – March 31).
What are the eligibility requirements for the workforce training stream??
To be eligible under the Workforce Training Stream, at the time of application participants must be unemployed, or employed by the applicant. To ensure eligibility, participants will need to submit their Participant Information Forms as part of the application.
