How many jumps does it take to be a jumpmaster??
Must be qualified as a parachutist and have a minimum of 12 static line parachute jumps from a high-performance aircraft (C-130, C-141, C27J, C-17 or C-5 only). Must have been on jump status for a minimum of 12 months. These months do not have to be consecutive.

What is United States Army Airborne School like??
Like most things in the Army, there’s a lot of “hurry up and wait” that goes on in this phase of Airborne School. So expect to be sitting around a lot. Since there will be so many of you, you’ll be assigned to a “group” that you will jump with (called a Chalk).
