The Ventura Unified School District is pleased to currently offer two K-8 Schools. Sunset School (K-8) in Oak View, CA, has been serving many students on the west end of Ventura and in Oak View for years. Lemon Grove School (TK-8 ), located in mid-town opened in the Fall of 2021.

If you do not live in the Ventura Unified School District, please complete an interdistrict transfer request and have your home district sign the release portion of your request. The form and pertinent documentation can then be submitted/emailed to the Student Support Service’s department for review.
