The FSA ID can be used to access the myStudentAid mobile app and to electronically sign the online FAFSA form. Please don't ask students to share their FSA IDs with you for safekeeping, even if you are helping them to apply for aid. The FSA ID must not be shared with anyone.
The 2022–23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ®) form is available to students and parents to complete online at fafsa.gov and through the myStudentAid mobile app. Resources for Reference and Outreach The resources below will be particularly useful as you prepare to help students with the FAFSA form and the mobile app.
The online FAFSA form will have a visual update and a similar look and feel to the rest of StudentAid.gov. Users will be able to select their specific role—student, parent, or preparer—before they enter the FAFSA form.
